100 Bad Plays About the Environment and One Red Balloon [2019]

100 Bad Plays About the Environment and One Red Balloon is a satirical performance about truth, fear, and absurdity in the age of climate change. Pushing all possible limits to extreme (duration, quantity, and aesthetics) Jackie and Brian, the self-important theatre artists set out to make great art. These two clowns compete against the inevitability of time to tell the story about what they believe to be the unavoidable end. The show unfolds like a social media feed wiring snippets of ideas, meme humor, and emotional bait through a subconscious of climate associations: anorexic polar bears, extinct bicycles and plays about flying kites made of garbage bags.
